Electrician profession

Justification of the choice of the profession of an electrician, based on personal experience, official statistics and the results.

Profession - ElectricianEvery time dictates not only fashionable clothes, but also fashionable professions. At the beginning of the last century, in the era of the GOELRO plan, electricians were worth their weight in gold and they were admired as fairy-tale heroes. But "... Times do not choose, they live and die in them." and in our time there is only one very “popular” red electrician Chu. Thanks to his efforts, according to experts, the industry rolled back fifty years ago.

From year to year, the sphere of higher education spits out a huge number of economists, lawyers, artists, managers of various kinds on the labor market, but at the moment there are sorely lacking engineers and electrical engineers in particular. We need technical specialists with experience in the profession. Engineers and workers, the prestige of the profession of the latter is especially underestimated.

Electricians needed like air

If in humanitarian fields failures and failures can be covered up with beautiful words, then a fallen pillar or a dim light will be answered with unprintable text and forced to work with your hands and head until an acceptable result is achieved. For the revival of Russia and the creation of the 25,000 jobs promised by Putin, air engineers need electricians and electricians working specialties.

See for yourself, in the strategic development plans of the country until 2020, it is planned to increase electricity production by 1.5 times, up to 350 gigawatts. This means that it will be necessary to build dozens of power plants, thousands of kilometers of power lines, organize the uninterrupted operation of new and existing infrastructure.

Profession - ElectricianEverywhere will need electricians and energy. Moreover, from the lowest level of service personnel to company leaders, i.e. those involved in the tactics and strategy of development of the industry. Electricity at the moment is the most liquid type of energy, because easily converted to kinetic or potential, thermal, easily transmitted and devices based on it are most environmentally friendly.

What is happening now?

Any technological processes are impossible without the use of electricity and "Personnel still decides everything", or rather their absence. This is one of the reasons why, according to a World Bank publication, in 2012 Russia took 184th place out of 185 countries according to the criterion of accessibility to energy networks. By this indicator, only Bangladesh is worse than us. Shame on you gentlemen!

electrician workAccording to a study conducted by the Sotsis analytical center, in most cities there is a shortage of 30-40% of personnel in the energy sector. This is especially true for workers. Maintenance of electrical installations at the enterprises of the energy complex requires specialists in all regions of the Russian Federation, without exception.

What are electricians?

Moreover, the need for them is 10% of the total number of vacancies! In addition, 10% of requests from utilities also relates to the search for specialists in energy supply. About 10% of vacancies are related to specialists with experience in working with neon, halogen and LED lamps. This is the illumination of buildings, illuminated signs, signs, etc.

There is an increased demand for the profession of an electrician, but specialists who combine the specialties of an electrician and an electronics engineer are especially needed there. This is due to the fact that modern cars are equipped with sophisticated electronic devices that control the electric drives of the main systems. In general, the trend of today is the combination of specialties. Such a specialist will always find a job.

electrician profession in industryA similar demand for the profession of electrician in industry and especially in the construction industry, as wiring is a very responsible and expensive step. Even the development and approval of a technical project costs millions of rubles.Think about the price of a mistake when laying communications if the commission doesn’t accept the finished building for this reason ?!

Electricians are also in demand in the field of trade. Firstly, this is the design of showrooms and showcases, and secondly, the sale of electricians in retail and wholesale networks.

Separately, one could talk about the profession of a ship electrician, an electrician in the aviation industry, an electrician in the space industry, etc. But this, I think, is material for another article and I will not bore the reader. We’d better talk about salaries and that having mastered the profession of an electrician, you can apply this knowledge both at home and at work. Moreover, this specialty will remain relevant until your retirement and will regularly feed and water you and your children.

How much do electricians earn?

So, we found out that an electrician, both an engineer and a worker, is very in demand. But, of course, everyone is interested in how the work of an electrician is valued in monetary terms. To do this, we take the average salary in the country and in different districts. Naturally, for the influx of qualified personnel into the industry, it is necessary that the salary of an electrician be as close to the national average as possible or exceed it.

Profession - ElectricianAccording to statistics, the average salary in the country and regions in 2012 was: Russian Federation - 22,900 rubles, Central Federal District - 27,800 rubles, Northwestern Federal District 24,800 rubles, Southern Federal District 16,600 rubles, North Caucasian Federal District 13,700 rubles ., Volga Federal District 16,400 rubles., Ural Federal District 26,200 rubles., Siberian Federal District 19,200 rubles., Far Eastern Federal District 27,100 rubles.

The maximum average salary is obtained in the Central Federal District - 27800 rubles. For information, the salary of a working electrician in Moscow ranges from 25 to 50 thousand rubles, i.e. she is above the average. The salary of an electrician sales manager in a province (for example, Vladimir Region) is 20,000 rubles. plus a percentage of sales. In construction, salaries are higher.

From the foregoing, it becomes clear that the profession of an electrician is promising in all directions. If you want to achieve heights in mastering this specialty, then you need to get a specialized education. A great help in this matter will be the development of an adjacent specialty. Knowing electrics and electronics is now a must. Your income when working in a specialty will be higher than the national average, but if you want to achieve maximum well-being, it's time to organize a private business in the specialty. Success, everything is in your hands!

What prestige can there be in our country? Especially in the province, specifically in our Bryansk region! For example, I am an electrician of the 5th category, I know electronics well, and my salary is 10,000 rubles a month with 25 years of experience! And for young electricians, 7000 rubles does not work out. But managers and psychologists have nowhere to go. It's a shame for the prestige of the profession!

NikomA good electrician will always find where you can earn significantly more than 10 thousand rubles. It just means you don’t really want to. If a person is a pro in his field, then the demand for his services will always be very high, especially in our time, when there is a serious deficit in normal specialists who can really do something qualitatively in their profession.

vitaly, it’s not clear what you mean. The prestige of the site is already so high. I’ve been working on this for several years almost every day and I won’t let him fall. If you do not like something on the site, then make your own.Believe me, I have already told a large number of people all the technology from A to Z from creation, to all the secrets in development and advancement, and nobody ever dared to repeat everything in practice. And all because it is necessary to work, and a lot and regularly. And this work is no less difficult than the work of the same electrician somewhere in production. And most people are lazy by nature. 90% live in a constant expectation of a better life - “To the start, attention,” but they don’t say “march”. But nothing happens in itself and does not improve in life. You need to act, especially if you are not satisfied with the current state of affairs.

All the same, I realized the power of related specialties, as I studied electronics, but I had to work on power electrics and a little electronics. Learn these two specialties together gentlemen! The boundaries of electronics and electrics are already blurred beyond recognition.

It seems like people are beginning to understand that managerialism, etc. "pros" in life are not interesting and boring! And electricians - yes, there is a shortage, but there are shifts. Life requires specialists!

All the troubles of the lack of engineers in the country, the fall of our satellites are the result of a well-thought-out policy of the systematic and systematic wrecking of our leaders, from the GDP to the very bottom.

There are a lot of electricians around, but this is only if you look purely on the diploma. Real professional electricians who really understand their profession units! I’m not just like that, but based on my 20 years of experience as a power engineer in the workshop. For 10 ordinary electricians - 1 professional who is worth its weight in gold. After him, and the director’s car, in which case they send him to the cottage on the weekend, so that they would bring them to the plant if some kind of line becomes. And the rest, it’s just a black manpower - what to bring somewhere, dig a trench, stretch the cable, change bulbs, etc. Even the motor through the starter is not able to connect everything. So I advise all young people - if there is a desire, then choose the profession of an electrician. Here you can quickly get out in people, only you need to have a head on your shoulders, well, the desire to develop and constantly learn something new!

To the person who is an electrician and electronic engineer "respect and respect" !!! I know very few of them, piece goods, but as a rule these people underestimate themselves and position themselves incorrectly. Employers (managers) receiving the required result from them, believe that it should be so. It is very important to make them understand that this combination costs money. An electronic engineer will easily comprehend and complete the task of an electrician, but on the contrary, 1 out of 100. The experience and knowledge of an electronic engineer are given with great difficulty, and therefore should be paid accordingly.

I work as an electrician in one of the shops of the Luga Abrasive Plant. In our area there is no division into siloviks and electronic engineers. Yesterday I mounted a new cabinet with electronics, today I can be an electrician on duty in the workshop, tomorrow I can pull 185 cables. Permanent study: new equipment comes. And I am already over 50, but I am satisfied. Good salary (from 25 and above), on time, social. In addition, in the evenings and on weekends there is also a "hack." And all this despite the fact that our small town is provincial (not Meadows). Having the specialty of an electrician, you will never be without money.

It is pleasant to read, but unfortunately there is little written about life. The level of remuneration of specialists in the energy sector in relation to the required level of knowledge and qualifications is very low for both managers and ordinary staff. It was always believed, and now it is believed that the technologist must always have a higher level of salary than other specialties. And this is actually completely different from what is written in the article ...

It's a shame (like in construction) when we are called service staff, heroes and rewards are given to those who know how to drive a car, operate a crane (supposedly these are the main professions). And yet, while working as an electrician, he unconditionally respected professionals who knew how to work with and without schemes, to work on overhead lines, and to make a cable funnel, to cope with a tower or bridge crane. Good luck with all my heart colleagues!

I am finishing the first course of the energy faculty, specialty "Power plants". Since childhood, I wanted to be a techie, all the girls played with dolls, and I fiddled with all the equipment that I just came across at home - collected - disassembled (which is typical, I didn’t break at the same time), instead of partying along the street, I used to learn all kinds of things and with wild enthusiasm I mastered physics with chemistry, I learned to solder, repair the little things, at school in high school I worked part-time as a system administrator and computer repair, I really wanted to learn how to repair the car but it was not possible, now I entered the auto mechanics in absentia, after the practice I’ll still master electronic warming up. I want to be a real engineer, but when I enrolled, the teacher said: “You, as a girl, you can’t count on more than work in the energy supply or project department, or as a teacher. Technique is not female. Nobody needs your pink snot at work "And to work for a girl at a power plant is generally from the realm of fantasy, because everyone knows that women are lost in difficult situations. In general, no adequate employer will take you to such a job."WTF????? What snot ????? Have they really forgotten the time when Russian women flew planes, worked at factories, and controlled trains ???? Is there really such gender discrimination in the entire engineering industry? Can I really only be taken to the office just because I was lucky (or unlucky) to be a girl ?????

Employed with experience, and where to get it. After graduation, a diploma is not needed when applying for a job. You must present a certificate of completion of courses. The salary is small, but even less with the instrumentation and A. I sent my son to study as an electrician, because you need to know less, and the salary is the same. I myself graduated UPI for an electrician, although I work in instrumentation. For a year now, the head of the service of instrumentation and instrumentation, the supply of electricians and instrumentation = residual at the same time requires updating equipment and making modernization of heat and water supply facilities without investing money.

I work as an electrician for the repair and maintenance of equipment. The factory has a lot of equipment with microprocessor equipment. Unfortunately, there are very few young people, and interest in the profession of an electrician has fallen dramatically. The average age of electricians (and other working professions) is 50 years or more. With the current secondary education and attitude towards working professions, soon there will be no one to competently maintain modern equipment. I believe that without stimulating professional growth and, accordingly, wage growth on the part of employers, there will be no influx of young people into our profession.

There is no such profession as an electrician, it was invented for simplification. There are electricians who are those above the light bulb, sockets and switches do not jump. And there are electricians for repair and maintenance of existing electrical installations and electricians. So today, the electric power industry is occupied by electricians, because of them, wages and professionalism in these professions are not growing. My professional experience in the profession of an electrician is more than 25 years old, started back in the USSR with those who turned on and off the whole enterprise with one switch in the 30-40s of the last century, starting a working day. Now I have my own experience, to pass on to no one and for nothing, even Deripaska closes his plants. My profession is an electrician in convulsions.

Sergey, the author of your comment is unfortunately right. There are very few good qualified electricians. The bulk of working people absolutely do not know the theory, although among them there are normal masters, but this is purely due to practical experience and intuition. Graduates of educational institutions are very weak in practice, and at present, almost none of the graduates are also versed in theory, i.e. graduated people with diplomas, at best, with fragmentary fragmentary knowledge and not knowing how to do anything in practice.

I am a college teacher by my very core of the profession and see how the education system has degraded over the past five years. But this does not only depend on the teachers, although now there is not much left with qualified teachers, because the salary is very low and no one really wants to strain for this money, and university graduates come completely unprepared for such work. The main problem is that the students themselves do not need knowledge and skills, they just need a diploma.

When I started working in college (10 years ago), we graduated from each group of people 15-20 theoretically well-trained people and having got into a normal enterprise with the right approach, they could become good specialists, now a maximum of people is trying to learn from a group of 25-30 people 3-4, and then this is a stretch, and the rest are tormented and it can be seen from them that these are completely strangers in the profession. Yes, and at the enterprises now ate out of 10 people 1-2 specialists who love and know how to work normally. Most of them stopped in their professional development at the time of graduation and it is very difficult to call them normal specialists.

    With all respect, Andrew

I am a sailor. The information I was given in college was practically useless. Modern textbooks are simply copied from the old - Soviet. The equipment that is being studied at the university now does not exist in nature. The teachers last saw the ship 10-15 years ago. They just stupidly read out their watches. Therefore, students learn to disappear from students. They get on the ship during practice, and there computers, programmable relays, microcomputers, valves open and close with the click of a computer mouse, and there is no watch in the engine room. They come and continue to study what is not. Who cares?

The second option: a young graduate comes to the enterprise, he is assigned to a team where there are 1-2 specialists, and they themselves work and do not show anything to the young, to be irreplaceable, and only so that they send a director’s car for them.

Where will competent workers come here?

It is really very well noticed that there are not enough technical specialists. For some reason, young people go to humanitarian specialties, and it’s technical specialists who fill up the state treasury, not humanitarian specialists. Of course, it is necessary to widely promote our technical specialties, in addition, we must provide them with some benefits. I would not want to underestimate the role of other specialties, but technical ones are more needed today.

But it is realistically to increase the monthly income to 30 tr, though being in a perpetual motion mode. Unless, of course, live a profession. It has long been understood (IMHO) that collective labor does much more harm than individual self-development. Collective work, where the young always goes after the old, the diploma of the "nachprof", plus the third group of elbes, which some are proud of as a baumanka diploma - the result and the salary are "zero" \ As for youth.

A useful article, necessary for people, touching upon acute issues of the Russian economy, a shortage of professionals, which impedes the development of this economy and creates acute problems for citizens whose work is not in demand. Comparing the article and the comments on it, you can see a vicious circle: there are not enough qualified specialists because there are few people eager to become a specialist because of low pay, and the reason for the low pay is low productivity, qualifications and, accordingly, low level of salary growth opportunities. The article is actively calling for a solution to this vicious circle. An electrician needs to be improved and studies all his life in order to be in demand.

The article is more than topical. In my life and work, I had to deal with electricians in operation, in wiring, in commissioning, and with developers.

Now the situation in my opinion is as follows.

    1. In metallurgy with the qualifications of electricians in operation, it’s good so far. This is NLMK, Severstal, Elektrostal met. factory, Novotroitsiy met plant.

    2. In the electrical installation, the heirs of the Electrical Installation maintain the tradition in the main. Unfortunately, in many of the former trusts and departments, installation and installation prohibitions have ceased to be carried out, hence many questions for designers.

    3. Commissioning has become easier, because imported equipment, and complex commissioning work for the most part comes down to adapting programs that suppliers perform as part of the commissioning process. But our installers still retained qualifications and are able to carry out adjustment and reconfiguration without the participation of suppliers.

    4. Worse and - there may be a disastrous situation with designers. The main reason is the extremely low level of wages. There is no one to teach. And whoever learns a little, they go to small firms to design small objects like cottages, shops, shops, etc. where qualifications are needed, but not always achieved.

I participate in the forum Proekt.bu and see the questions that are raised there. A forum is needed as an educational one, but questions characterize the level of participants. And the salary of those who ask questions is much higher than those of those who advise.

Here is a brief overview of my problem.

Of course, I understand people who are not related to energy. They think the light in their house comes from the air. But the one who delivers this light to the house, they do not see. That's why they think that electricians do not work. A normal electrician will always check everything in time and clean it if necessary. On this and do not notice that we are working. I am an electrician myself, 23 years of experience. All this I heard how electricians do not work. And when the lamp burns out in the toilet, they turn to an electrician.

Sadly, all the working professions from an electrician to a locksmith sag under the influx of unfortunate engineers who do not know how to twist a light bulb, but with a higher education. I myself am one of the latter, though :)

Yes, “score” has long been necessary for the “prestige-non-prestige” profession. A qualified specialist in a country where everything goes with the flow will always be in demand. There would be strength and health. The prestige of the profession is not made by the name, but by an individual person.

Regarding the average salary of an electrician. In Ukraine, at the state. enterprises and many private enterprises, the average salary of electrical personnel in rubles does not exceed 7-8 thousand. In this case, it does not speak of any prestige. The prospect is also not very happy, considering that the average salary of engineers, for example, a master, does not exceed 12-14 thousand

I am glad that I came across this site, indeed here you can find a lot of the necessary and at the same time free of charge. As for the fact that the salary of an electrician is small - you need to learn, be able to do what others do not know how or do not want to do. If the place doesn’t have a decent job for which you are applying, drop everything and start to “hack”, today there are a huge number of old-built houses where you need to change everything. If you earn money on bread and water at the first object, then you will have clients next door to the first object, and then it will be like a snowball. Here it’s already possible to equalize the prices at will, then life will get better. Well, this of course applies to those who WANTS and ABLE to do the work of an electrician.

The United States still cannot do what was done in the USSR a looped, unified energy system. Chu destroyed her. LITERATURE electricians now have a low salary in the regions, so there are a lot of fires and accidents caused by illiterate installation and maintenance of networks and equipment. Now there is a fusion of electricians, electronics and microprocessor technology. Requirements for specialists are increasing. I agree completely with your article.

I work in the Moscow region as an electrician on duty as a cable adjuster. I teach electrical engineering at college.
    Agree withIgor Gerasimchuk, 43 post.
In continuation of the topic, I note
    1. Now, within the framework of NGOs, for the housing and communal services they plan to train not electricians, but the “master of housing and communal services” is all in one person an electrician and a plumber with the skills of a welder.
    2. For work and salary, say, an electrician in production is considered a loafer in the eyes of staff. The statement is controversial, but you must agree that the work of an electrician is not the work of the equipment operator.
    3. I think the specialists who combine the knowledge of electricians, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanics will be most in demand. That is, what is meant by the concept of an installer.
    4. In my opinion, it is necessary to separate the work on electrics up to 1000 V and over 1000 V. Work where over 1000 in is carried out by specialized organizations and personnel there, I think not from the street. Yes, and salaries there judging by the vacancies on job sites above.
Special thanks to the creator of the site for the work.

I read and ..... completely sad. Forty-two years in the energy sector, an electrical engineer, went through the successive installation of electrical networks and electrical installations, commissioning, now here is the operation. At one time, he made a professional choice himself and, you will not believe it, I still do not regret it.
And I was saddened by the fact that the conversation was superficial: prestige, salary, additional sources of income, etc., but not a word about the state of the industry in its separate structural unit: site, workshop, service, etc., to the very, so to speak , lower classes.Imagine a state implementing its lawmaking in accordance with the constitution, which, as it turns out later, simply does not exist. And this is the way energy has been mischievously transferred to the category of industries serving the national economy. That pokes the crane’s main power engineer at the construction site, because the crane has the execution that feeds all SMUs, and the main power engineer has construction services. It can be argued that this is not so in the specialized enterprises of the Ministry of Energy. Alas, the division of the structural divisions into network and sales has convincingly proved that the electric energy sales manager is a much more prestigious position than the OVB electrician, who delivered this energy to the supply border. And about additional incomes: perhaps it was good on the student bench to “cut down” the chervonets to a scholarship - but in the conditions of modern electric facilities, the incoming specialist is nothing more than a “dad for Sunday”, or, as the people say, neither at home, nor in field.
The industry, as a whole, and each of us involved in the direct production process, like air, needs a legislative and regulatory framework that regulates the process from the training of specialists to their retirement. You can’t help one thing .......

The average salary in the country is the same as the average temperature in the hospital! For an example: I work I work in the state budgetary educational institution. The whole energy service consists of a power engineer and an electrician in one person, although the economy is quite large. Salary clean on hand - 8,000 rubles! Fortunately, I live in a regional center, so there are always part-time jobs. And in the villages of the district - there is generally one electrician to the whole village and everything on it is the village council, school, kindergarten, boiler room, well, etc., and all this for a minimum! What prestige of the profession can we talk about? In Soviet times, our vocational school produced two or three groups of electricians a year (electrician of rural electrification and communications), and now you look, let's say in electrical safety studies - there are practically no young people, all men of my age! Let's retire - who will work? And the training of young electricians, those who come to work - awful (generally a complete zero). They do not distinguish a plus from a phase, not to mention any calculations! This is the result of state education policy! And your site is really needed, for those who are interested, you can find a lot of useful things!

Very good useful article, interesting site, huge benefits. I work as an electrician for repair and maintenance of transformer substations 10 / 0.4 kV and on 0.4 kV distribution networks for the 22nd year, up to and above 1000 v, IV admission group. And now and earlier, in order to successfully and efficiently carry out their duties, you need to constantly improve your knowledge, without it anywhere. It helps that I used to be a regulator of REA and devices, because circuits are complicated, electronics, microprocessors - and you need to know and break down - the equipment is new, modern, imported, sometimes you have to refine their circuits, bring them to mind. Well, part-time jobs come across periodically. Sincerely, Mikhail.

Recently, the demand for electrical services in construction is very large. It is unclear why an electrician should work for a penny in a crumbling factory if you can earn good money on private services. Naturally, at the same time, you need to be an electrician not only in diploma, but also be able to really do something with your own hands. Well, how to do everything correctly on the Internet is full of information, including on this site. So, if you have a head on your shoulders, a desire to learn and a lack of laziness, you can earn a lot and not depend on anyone.

    Good evening, colleagues!

I decided to share my little experience (I have been working in the energy sector for a little more than 3 years) - I received a higher electrical education (in my opinion, at one of the best universities - Ivanovo State Energy University, majoring in Power Supply), after which I became at a crossroads in choosing a career (specifically meaning - electrical installation, commissioning, energy audit, operation, design, engineering). So, by the will of fate, he worked at the electrical installation, worked closely with the commissioning and interacted with the operation, worked in an energy audit, in the general contracting structure, and currently decided to dwell on the design for himself, which I am doing now. My choice was limited to design, since only in this field of energy can I develop as a specialist and the financial component grows in proportion to knowledge and experience - intellectual activity is more promising than working with my hands, allows me to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of electrical equipment, relevant scientific and technical documentation and feel the trends in the electric grid industry for the near future - this is the main reason for my professional choice.

While working at the electrical installation, I talked with electricians - many of them are experienced and knowledgeable in their field (as a rule, electricians are at least 5-6 categories), but not everyone can, and most importantly they want to develop further, for example, on engineering, with their RF level more The salary of a novice engineer is 1.5 times on average - a true professional will have a good income and will always be in demand on the labor market.

I wish you professional success, colleagues! Only a highly qualified specialist will be in demand and his work will always be highly paid!

    Sophia,
Your teacher thinks in cliches. Ask him who is the chief engineer of Moscow cable networks (a branch of MOESK)? After the departure of Todirka S.N. Vostrosablina V.A., who had been a deputy chief engineer for ten years, became the chief engineer.
In addition, he repeatedly met women among the operational personnel of 220-500 kV substations.
There is only one task - to try not to miss anything while studying. Having a good professional training, subsequently becoming a good specialist is not difficult.
At 28, I already headed the electric grid division of 330 people in the oil and gas sector, and, by the way, I appointed a woman as the head of the TVET.
So, Sophia, go for it and you will succeed.

I’ll add from myself that to succeed in any profession you need to be a cool, piece specialist. Then there will be money, and respect, and prestige.
For example. One of my former colleague and current friend graduated from MPEI. He worked in the commissioning of 110-220 kV substation. Then - in the design of networks up to 500 kV. Moreover, he is a really high-class specialist, despite his age of 29 years. Now he works as a GUI, has gained fame as an unrivaled expert and receives 160 thousand rubles in his hands.

    Rafik,

Rafik, I totally agree! Profession shit! The city is not big, in the housing and communal services the salary is from 12,000 to 14,000 thousand. In factories, a little more up to 18000 but this does not require electrical work with an extra load, help loaders ... A little more on electrical installation up to 25000 .... And that is not everywhere. Neighbor, the bank works, technicals salary 22000rub !!!!!!!! You can’t get out of hack-work, it’s one good that people are leaving the land — they are building houses. I have been working since the 90s as an electrician, electrician. It got to the point that lately mounted, assembled, installed, connected 4G Internet. This is about qualifications, thanks to the college for teaching electronics! Always striving for a new one! Raised and increase my level of knowledge !! What's the point? Not when, wherever where I worked, were not respected! Here is the storekeeper, seller, manager, yes! I think my choice of profession is wrong! The region has the lowest paid job!

Hello. The article is not bad. But in my opinion the problem is not completely disclosed. RAO UES has abolished more than one person. The current large ones (IDGCs, TGKs, RUSHydro, etc.) are not prepared for the current conditions of competition in the economy. They are not mobile. Especially senior engineers. And they don’t want to! There are very few new facilities. But it’s harder to develop. In terms of personnel, today's youth is going where it’s easier and there is more money. Manager (warm, clean, in his office, and zp in order). Electrician, electrician, electrician (you yourself know everything :)) By payment: operation - you won’t earn much. Of course, you will not die of hunger either. Wiring is our everything :) But, here is Little But. It is necessary to run, compete, prove and not wait for the weather from the sea. And 70 percent of our citizens are not ready for this. And they don’t want to be ready. What is the trouble. Shabashki, Kalym - What are the terms! Not shabashki, but YOUR BUSINESS! Small or large, but OWN! And where there is both development and earnings there. For advanced training, the current Electrician is 3 in 1. And even more. But in operation for the same money almost. T.K. everywhere in the process of optimization or simple layoffs.

I agree that without luck anywhere, someone is unfastened at the age of 29 and thinks that he became a cool specialist in 6 years and managed to lead a team of 330 people, and someone is also interrupted by 50 from bread to water, in reality being a specialist. I want to note one thing. In the electric power industry, you can achieve something only by long, hard work, knowledge gained in yours and .... as it is not regrettable through luck \ BLAT. Learn gentlemen and change episodes of jobs, so as not only to change the lights in the toilet.
