The outlet is in a suitable place, at a convenient height, the plug sits comfortably in it, maybe there is a backlight, etc.

A favorite outlet can become quite easy, because today many manufacturers produce them using various materials. At a minimum, outlets are overhead, recessed, or even hidden. In addition, sockets may have additional useful features that will increase comfort and provide additional reliability for using this socket for its intended purpose in a selected location.

A socket with a built-in residual current circuit breaker will prevent electric shock to the user when a current leak through the device is detected. This can save someone health and life. We are talking about the built-in protective shutdown device, because the RCD or the differential machine are not always installed in the shield.

Timer socket

A socket with a built-in timer will itself turn off the power supply to the plug at a time specified by the user. This is a very useful function in a situation where the device itself, although it should in theory be equipped with a timer, but there is no timer on it. For example, an old heater or humidifier, or a Soviet fan, that has long been fond of, it is unlikely that any of this will be equipped with a timer, and a socket with a timer in this situation would be most welcome.

Even for more modern appliances socket with timer will be helpful. Some bread makers and washing machines like to stand idle after completing work with the indicators turned on, and this annoys many housewives, they cannot afford to leave the house on time, as they have to wait until the washing or baking is completed. A socket with a timer itself will disconnect the plug from the network.
