Free energy - how real is it?
Judging by the abundance of videos and comments on them on YouTube, the topic of the so-called "Free Energy" has already snapped many and continues to excite the minds. Which is not surprising, because the desire to learn new things is quite natural for an intelligent person. However, not every person, having first seen something unusual and new, is able to correctly interpret what he saw. For this reason, many immediately begin to stigmatize inventors, innovators, calling them deceivers, charlatans, scammers. But is it worth judging so clearly? Let's think about it.
The first law of thermodynamics cannot be broken
The first law of thermodynamics tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only transfer from one species to another. This means that if the Free Energy devices, in the form in which they are presented on YouTube, are real, then they simply transform the energy of some unusual external sources. On Earth, these sources can be: the Earth’s gravitational field, Earth’s magnetic field, Earth’s electric field and the charge of air molecules (static electricity), Archimedes force, finally.
Since it is impossible to directly connect to the environment with a wire, like a battery, we can talk about induction (electrostatic, magnetic) or gravitational interaction, which are used in devices for transferring energy to a consumer.

From unstable balance to movement
If there is no potential difference between the energy source and its receiver (temperature, gravitational, electric or magnetic), then there can be no interaction in principle, because there is no reason for the interaction when the objects are in stable equilibrium with each other. So, if the interaction still occurs, then the manifestation of the potential difference begins to take place when the device of "free energy" is turned on.
In this case, the device during its operation is enough just to upset a certain balance in relation to the objects around it, and then the interaction will begin. We can say that the device acts as a kind of catalyst, starting the process of movement in the system, which was previously in unstable equilibrium. Slightly increased the electric field in a certain area of space - and the movement of ions in one of the directions began to prevail sharply. They pushed a brick lying on the edge of the roof of the house - and it flew down, converting potential energy into kinetic energy, which would have remained potential without an initiating impulse. In these three examples, we can observe the “initiating effect” on an external object, the energy of which is logically called “Free energy” in the context of this article.
Resonance, resonance, resonance
It turns out that when it comes to the phenomenon of resonance, then resonance is nothing more than an instrument, an effective mode of operation with the least resistance of the system. The oscillator with optimal frequency removes the carrier of "free energy" from equilibrium, cyclically starting processes. Thus, in resonance as such, there is nothing magical.
Examples of “free energy” in everyday life
The refrigerator compressor does not perform work on cooling products, it only initiates the transfer of thermal energy from the products in the chamber to the rear wall of the refrigerator. Similarly, a room air conditioner or a heat pump works.
A gasoline internal combustion engine is not a source of fuel combustion energy, it only creates the conditions for this combustion to occur, and the energy is extracted from a chemical reaction that is initiated by the ignition system. And although the engine is first started by an electric starter, we will never say that the starter drives the car.
The solar battery does not generate energy, it converts the photon energy of solar radiation, which falls on the solar cells, if the battery is correctly oriented. The initiator can be considered a tracker - an electromechanical device that turns the solar battery after the movement of the sun. We will never say that the tracker is a source of energy for the solar panel.
