Using the energy of gravity - how is it possible

In the early 2000s, Chinese inventors Lawrence Tseng and Li Cheng (Lawrence TSEUNG, Cheung LEE) proposed a method of extracting energy from gravity based on their adjusted pendulum theory. They realized that if you push the pendulum, then it immediately begins to withdraw gravitational energy.

Using the energy of gravity - how is it possible

If the momentum of force F continues to be applied to the pendulum in resonance, then it will continue to extract gravitational energy. This energy can be extracted, for example, if the metal pendulum is forced to cross the lines of the magnetic field, then mechanical energy will be converted into electrical energy. Although the swinging motion of the pendulum begins to slow down, the pendulum can be accelerated again thanks to the impulse of force F.

The swinging movement can even be replaced by rotational, for a more effective implementation of this principle. Such devices can work everywhere, even on the moon, because gravitational energy is unlimited.

Swing

For centuries, people have been playing with swings, but they don’t even suspect that the moment they push the swings, they simultaneously receive the energy of gravity. Children love to push the swing a couple of times, and then brake them sharply. At the same time, they, of course, notice that the knocking-down force turns out to be much larger than that which they reported by doing shocks.

Getting energy from gravity

In textbooks, in relation to this phenomenon, the term “gravity energy” is not considered, the force is attributed only to resonance. It is assumed that all the energy comes to the pendulum from the shocks.

This misunderstanding for many years prevented engineers and scientists from developing methods and devices that would receive energy from gravity for centuries. There was no theoretical basis for such inventions. Many inventions of this kind have been classified by patent offices, and by scientists around the world as perpetual motion machines, and have traditionally been rejected.

Meanwhile, the inventors consider a technical breakthrough a correct understanding and the correct conclusion of the basic formulas related to the rocking motion or the pendulum: push the pendulum in accordance with the resonance and the swinging pendulum will bring out the gravitational force. Some rocking toys use integrated circuits to provide pulses.

A swinging toy is powered by a battery or a photocell. If the suspension of a pendulum or toy is replaced by a copper conductor, and this conductor is placed between two magnets, then the copper wire will cross the lines of the magnetic field and will generate electricity. The rocking motion will slow down, converting kinetic energy into electrical energy, but the next impulse will again accelerate the load, and you will get a simple generator that can extract energy from gravity.

The math is simple. If we consider a ball of mass m on a rope, to which the force F is applied briefly, then a displacement d will occur. Physical laws require acceleration a, then F = ma. The energy transferred to the pendulum will be equal to the force times the displacement Fd. The final velocity v is calculated from Fd = mv2 / 2. In the absence of suspension, friction, gravity, air resistance, the ball would simply acquire speed v, and continue to move in a straight line. But due to the presence of gravity and rope, the ball will move to position X.

The situation using the concept of circular motion

The figure above depicts a situation using the concept of circular motion. The ball moves up and to the left due to the centripetal force C. Force C can be considered as consisting of two components: component C1 has a vertical direction. It acts against gravity by lifting the ball up.

The work is done, the energy is expended, the component C2 is directed horizontally, in the direction opposite to the movement of the ball - it acts on the ball, slowing it down until its speed becomes zero. Work done, energy expended.

Component C1 can be considered as contributing to the work performed by the suspension to raise the ball against gravity. In other words, this energy is the non-obvious energy of gravity. As soon as we push the pendulum, the work is carried out by a suspension against gravity. This energy must be conserved.

Here, two energy components effectively act on the system. One of them is the pulse energy, which is supplied to start or maintain movement. The other is the energy supplied by the suspension to raise the ball against gravity. This means that we “bring” gravitational energy into the system when we push the pendulum. The correct lossless pendulum energy ratio should be:

  • Incoming energy = Outgoing energy

  • Energy input = Energy from momentum + Energy from gravity

  • Energy output = Potential energy mgh + Kinetic energy (mv2 / 2)

Previously, scientists did not take this energy into account from gravity, they thought that all energy comes only from momentum. Thus, they did not allow engineers to develop systems for extracting energy from gravity directly.

The above simple theoretical adjustment will lead to the emergence of many devices that directly extract energy from gravity. In the patent, the authors disclose three exemplary embodiments, however, dozens of paths are possible.

Pendulum

Pendulum

The pendulum is suspended on a copper wire. Place the pendulum between the two magnets, and let it cross the magnetic field in a swinging motion. Use the generated electricity to do the horizontal burst job.

This is the simplest and most obvious solution. However, the generated electric current will vary from zero to maximum and change direction. To provide a more practical electric generator, control should be complicated by resorting to an integrated circuit. If the goal is only to demonstrate the principle, for example in the form of a glow of a light bulb, then this is quite enough.

Wheel

In theory, you can rotate the pendulum in a circle without violating the theory. In practice, we will replace the pendulum with metal rods located in the shape of a wheel. Generating electricity will, of course, slow down the movement of a rotating wheel, but a pulsed circuit will remove additional energy from gravity to accelerate the movement of the wheel.

With proper speed control, the rotation can be kept constant, and the generation of electric current will be stable and unidirectional. It will be an efficient DC generator. The secret to success lies in positioning and controlling various magnets and impulse circuits.

The energy extracted from gravity per revolution can reach 2mgR, where R is the radius of the wheel. This value of the received energy may turn out to be less if some impulses are applied vertically. But as long as gravitational energy enters the system, energy free of gravity is obtained.

Double wheel and water

You can also use water on a vertically rotating double wheel to extract energy from gravity. If there was no gravity, then the water would be distributed evenly along the outside of the wheel. But due to gravity, the distribution of water will be heterogeneous.

A wider path on the ascending side of the movement, and narrower on the side moving down (this is due to the fact that water moves up more slowly due to gravity). We can use the central shaft with ribs to extract energy from simply moving water, or we can use the exact same central shaft with ribs to extract energy from downward water.

If we again look at the decomposition of the centripetal force C into two components C1 and C2, then C1 raises the ball up against gravity and does the work - the resulting energy passes into the pendulum system, this is the energy from gravity. C2 is directed opposite to the momentum of the force F, and works to slow the ball from speed v to zero. C1 can be much larger than C2, according to the parallelogram rule for forces. This means that if we want to get more energy from gravity, we need to apply small, but frequent pulses of force F.

Wheel is the best option

It is best to use a wheel rotating at a constant speed. The mechanical energy of rotation will be directly converted into electrical energy. The rotation speed will begin to decrease, but the pulsed circuit will “output” more gravitational energy to restore speed. If more electricity is required, then it is necessary to increase the speed of rotation, and increase the number of pulses per revolution.

Something already done, but not thoroughly

Many scientists work in the field of energy. Some also use gravity energy. One option is the well-known Chinese patent 02113293.3, issued August 13, 2003. This patent uses vibration energy from moving a vehicle on an uneven surface to generate electricity. It can supplement or restore part of the energy consumed by an electric car, but cannot be the main source.

The new theory is applicable both to oscillating resonant systems, and to vibrating resonant systems. The invention is excellent because it can become the main source of energy for an electric car.

Lawrence TSEUNG, Cheung LEE

Another well-known Chinese patent is 01123526.8, issued March 5, 2003. This patent uses cylinder rotation to extract gravitational energy from a car’s central drive shaft. It describes a very efficient mode of operation. However, the inventor does not fully understand the theory.

In his marketing literature, he explained his understanding of the phenomenon using a mixture of Chinese philosophy, Western science and the mysterious cosmic forces. He did not understand that the theory is simply in the “derivation” of gravity from a swinging pendulum. The explanation proposed by Lawrence Tseng and Li Cheng corrected the theory of the pendulum, mysterious energy sources were effectively eliminated.

A similar theory can be used to explain the extraction of energy from magnetic fields, etc.
