Mark Hendershot's father, Leicester Hendershot, was an inventor. He has succeeded more than once in his many attempts to create practical things. The mysterious disappearance of Lester Hendershot

The tragic death of Leicester

The last attempt to promote the generator came at the end of 1960, when Dr. Lloyd Cannon convinced Lester Hendershot that he had the opportunity to transfer the project to the U.S. Navy for research and development.
